Isabelle Bossuyt (°25/04/1977) is an upcoming Belgian contemporary artist. After studying at the Art Academy in Tielt she graduated cum laude as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint-Lucas Ghent. Actually she graduated as a textile designer and for several years she combined her job in the textile industry with her passion painting. In 2008 she finally decided to give up her job and to start her own art gallery. The style of her work, oil on canvas, is a combination of abstract and figurative paintings and is often inspired by fashion and textiles. Colour, texture and material are very important in the creation of her work that has been sold internationally.
